CHP Energy cheaper by 20% in 2014

Approves reference price of 152.91 lei / MWh, excluding VAT, for proper electricity produced in high efficiency cogeneration and sold in 2014 for electricity and heat producers benefiting from bonus “reads in Article 1 of Order.

For 2013 the price is set at 189 USD / MWh.

Also, regulated energy delivered during the day , the price drops to £ 216 per MWh in the year to £ 177 in 2014. In the night hours, the price will reach 135 lei / MWh this year to £ 104.73 next year.

ANRE has done an analysis to see if there is an overcompensation of those receiving bonuses in high efficiency cogeneration. We found that no such overcompensation, so we proposed government reduction from 1 January to 10% of these bonuses and from 1 June to 35% . The discount will be applied to all energy producers, not just some of them, “said Havrilet .

According to him, reduced bonuses will decrease by 0.5 % of the final bill in the first phase, followed by 1 June, the bill to reduce the other 2-3% behind this measure.

There is no need to notify the European Commission to take this measure, since it is reducing these bonuses, not their growth. Follow the Executive to approve a decision that the current legislation will be changed , “added the head of ANRE.

Contribution for high efficiency cogeneration was introduced on 1 April 2011 and is currently £ 23.1 per MWh . The fee is paid by all consumers of energy and is shown separately on the electricity bill. The money thus obtained are received as a bonus for the producers of cogeneration ( electricity and heat simultaneously ) with an efficiency of over 70 % of the installations to stimulate investments in equipment modernization.
