Originally designed to Asia HQ office space with an area of 6,000 square meters has completely innovative green technologies – including air quality improvement systems, write inhabitat.com.
Designed to provide a safe haven in a country notorious for air pollution, office designed by Gensler has advanced air purification systems that ensure constant indoor air healthy. A green wall consisting of plants was also installed to help purify the air.
Moreover, all materials used in construction were produced locally, recycled and reused.
Powered by solar energy, office consumes less than 40,000 kWh per year and directs excess energy produced to the network state. In addition to the surplus energy, the office is equipped with systems that use rainwater collects and treats – nearly 500 cubic meters of rainwater is harvested annually although the office consumes only 200 cubic meters of water per year. The project was completed with a zero carbon footprint.
Flexible, the office is spacious and bright and it has an open plan with movable partitions that allow employees to change the desktop configuration. LBC office certification process is currently underway.
