Push House, the first house of hemp that draw carbon dioxide from the air

That appeared in the city of Asheville, North Carolina, the first house built from Hemcrete. It covers 3400 square meters and was baptized Push House, enjoying a variety of eco-friendly features.

The material used, Hemcrete is obtained by mixing the husks and debris hemp lime and water. This combination forms a solid and durable but environmentally friendly.

This material has a high insulation capacity and managed to keep a constant temperature inside the building and at the same time has the ability to absorb various pollutants in the air such as carbon dioxide.

 

Not just the exterior of the house is designed with care for the environment, but also the inside. The interior walls are made of Purepanel, which is a product made from recycled paper, with a strong and durable casing, and 30 of the house's windows, glass although new, next-generation, consist of frames that were used.
