“King of wind turbines” is doing in Dobrogea a engineers hub alongside who wants to attack Europe. Businessman counting on the experience gained in the delivery of one of the largest land-based wind farms in the world

"Our target is to expand throughout Europe. We can go to labor costs much better prepared. Now we can also export know-how, "says Sebastian Enache, group development director Monsson owned by the family Muntmark.

Businessman counting on the experience gained from delivery of turnkey wind power projects by players such as OMV Petrom and CEZ, the Czech group that bought the complex FântâneleCogealac, one of the largest land-based wind farms in the world.

The business has recently strengthened after Monsson bought a majority stake in Emon Electric, an energy infrastructure business works. The acquisition has filled one of the gaps left in the complete package that the Group offers to investors in renewables.

"Now we have a group that raises turbine, companies that make roads, foundations, electrical maintenance works. Only turbines we are not manufacturing. We are able to offer our clients all the services before subcontract, which means a lower cost for them, "said Enache.

Dobrogea in Europe

Emanuel Muntmark began developing wind farms in 2004, when in Dobrogea, the most "fertile" area of the country. From the first small turbine, things changed quickly. Developed parks portfolio includes 2,400 MW Monsson group of nearly 3,000 MW across the country.
