Both competitions will take place proposed by the municipality after the very popular system contest "Slatina – green city clean city" through which they were rehabilitated several blocks and staircases in the city.
"We approved the regulations of the two contests and all citizens will find periods when Slatinei can sign, during which these contests will be held. I explained each time what nvolve these contests. First, there is the rehabilitation of the terraces by creating green spaces. This idea came from a child's heart, with initiative.
The second project involves the development of photovoltaic panels, a mini photovoltaic plant, covering electricity consumption on the staircase.
We addressed especially ten-storey blocks that have and elevators, in these cases one substantial energy consumption. Then we have to find solutions so that bills of these people to fall, "said Minel Prina, Mayor of Slatina.
The mayor also said that the chief citizens of Slatina have already shown interest to enroll in the two residential buildings competitions.
"They made some cover letters, nothing else needs to be done. After submission of letters of intent, an assessment is made. Depending on the score and the amounts allocated to these projects, we introduce these stairs in these programs, "said Prina.
He added that in case of the contest "Slatina city eco energy", municipality is considering installing a micro-photovoltaic for more stairs of a block.
