Changes to regulations. Lowers the cost of connection to electricity grids in Romania

National Authority for Energy Regulation – ANRE supports the user by reducing connection costs, simplifying the connection and enables them to benefit from the most advantageous solution for the connection specified in a statement the Authority.

 

The Regulatory Committee has approved in its meeting of 01.07. 2015, Order no. 102/2015 approving the Regulation for establishing solutions for connecting users to public electricity networks representing the revised Regulation for establishing solutions for connecting users to public electricity networks, approved by ANRE Order no. 129/2008.

 

Regulation for establishing solutions for connecting users to public electricity networks with the phases and procedures for setting variants of the solution or solution for connecting users to public electricity networks and determining the content of the studies and solution sheets for connection to electricity network all users.

 

The changes introduced by the new order are mainly the following:

– Simplifying the process of connecting places of production and places of consumption and production of low power by changing the way down by the network operator solution for connecting manufacturing sites to meet conditions imposed by Law no. 121/2014 on energy efficiency.

 

– Network Operator for which the requested connection is responsible for developing, where is appropriate, the solution sheet or solution study.

 

– It was set explicitly, the possibility that the network operator to conclude the contract for the elaboration of an operator certified solution chosen by the user.

 

– Were introduced provisions to prevent the imposition of a network operator solutions disadvantageous to the user by non approval of solution variants of economically convenient for them. In this regard it was provided the opportunity for the user to participate in meetings approval solution studies and the approval must contain all variations of the solution set out in the study, and the reasons and justifications for a non approval situation of a variant.

 

– It was referred the form of cooperation between the concessionaire and distribution operator network who carried out the study of the solution for connecting the direct line to establish connection solution.
