\tClean energy producers received last year about 12.5 million green certificates, as Transelectrica sais. <\/span>Of these, there were 10 million MWh traded at an average price of 42 euro per unit, according to data presented at a conference of Otilia Marin, Director General of the ANRE ( energy market regulator ). <\/span>The cost of green energy was about nine euros per MWh in 2013. <\/span>Earlier this year, there were about 2.4 million available for trading green certificates waiting to be purchased from suppliers who have met the mandatory quota for 2013.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n \n\tIn 2013, the government reduced support for renewable energy producers and energy market has witnessed a scandal between authorities, industrial consumers and investors. <\/span>Each of the parties have come up with their own version of the adjustment of the scheme, but there was no solution for the optimal subsidy to support renewable industry and satisfactory for producers.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n \n\tLate last year, President Traian Basescu returned to Parliament the law approving the ordinance establishing the postponement of trading certificates claiming that the authorities had not notified the modification of the support of the European Union. <\/span>Department of Energy led by Constantin Nita announced that Basescu was not well informed as to pre – notification sent to the Commission. <\/span>No more missed USL and political leaders accused the president that does not want cheaper energy bills.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n \n\tChief adviser of President Basescu on energy issues, said: "The president has passed a law to the government who must first notify the changes of support scheme. <\/span>Otherwise, our country risks a infrigement. <\/span>Notification of pre – notification is the next step. <\/span>Basically, we have provided for the Government to make this notification supplemented. <\/span>European law forces you to notify the Commission of any change of such support and to get permission before you apply.
