\n\tElectrica SA is one of the most profitable companies in the state, has about 3.5 million customers and 11,000 employees.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tElectrica Transilvania Nord has distribution subsidiaries, Southern Transylvania and Muntenia Nord, the rest being privatized networks during 2004-2006. <\/span>Electrica SA administered in total 6600 km of 110 kV overhead lines and 44,000 km of medium voltage lines, of which 34,000 km of overhead lines.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe state sells 51 % stake it holds in Electrica SA by listing on the stock exchange operation that will be done through a share capital increase in April next year.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n
