\n\tRomania<\/span> produced<\/span> in the first eight<\/span> months of the year<\/span>,<\/span> a total<\/span> of 13.7<\/span> TWh<\/span> of renewable energy<\/span>, accounting for<\/span> 41.6<\/span>% of<\/span> national electricity consumption<\/span> in<\/span> period.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tWind turbines<\/span> produced<\/span> 2.9<\/span> TWh<\/span> and<\/span> 10.8<\/span> TWh<\/span> of total<\/span> comes from<\/span> hydropower<\/span>.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t \n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe<\/span> total<\/span> national consumption<\/span> reached<\/span> 32.9<\/span> TWh<\/span>, which means that<\/span> renewable energy<\/span> accounted for nearly<\/span> half<\/span> (41.6<\/span>%<\/span>) of<\/span> national electricity consumption<\/span> in the first eight<\/span> months of the year<\/span>.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\tWind turbines<\/span> produced<\/span> in the mentioned period<\/span> almost double<\/span> the amount<\/span> of energy<\/span> compared to the same<\/span> period<\/span> of 2012<\/span>,<\/span> 2.9<\/span> TWh<\/span> from 1.6<\/span> TWh<\/span> in the last year<\/span>.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t \n<\/p>\n

\n\tMoreover,<\/span> wind energy<\/span> this year<\/span> reached<\/span> 7.7% of<\/span> total electricity production<\/span>, compared to<\/span> the first eight<\/span> months of 2012<\/span>, when it<\/span> accounted for<\/span> 3.9%<\/span>.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n
