\n\tWind energy<\/span> has experienced<\/span> growth<\/span> in<\/span> recent years<\/span> in terms of<\/span> installed capacity<\/span> in<\/span> Romania<\/span>, and by the end<\/span> of this year<\/span>, according the experts estimations<\/span>,<\/span> over 7.5<\/span>% of<\/span> electricity demand<\/span> could be<\/span> covered by<\/span> wind energy<\/span>. In the<\/span> pres<\/span>ent, the cumulative<\/span> power<\/span> of total<\/span> operational<\/span> wind farms<\/span> is 1000<\/span> MW.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe percentage<\/span> of growth for<\/span> 2011 was<\/span> 112.6<\/span>% compared to 2010, and for 2012<\/span> it is estimated<\/span> a doubling of<\/span> installed capacity<\/span>.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tAccording<\/span> Transelectrica<\/span> in<\/span> August this<\/span> year<\/span> total<\/span> MW<\/span> of<\/span> projects<\/span> with<\/span> the technical connection<\/span> and<\/span> connection contract<\/span> reached<\/span> 22.458<\/span> MW<\/span> ended<\/span>. This<\/span> statistic<\/span> Romania<\/span> ranks<\/span> 2nd in<\/span> Europe after<\/span> Germany<\/span> and ahead<\/span> of Spain<\/span>.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t\u00a0\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThese projects<\/span> are<\/span> currently<\/span> being planned<\/span> and<\/span> just<\/span> wants to be<\/span> demarcated<\/span> in<\/span> the coming years.<\/span> 97<\/span>% of installed capacity to date<\/span> are located<\/span> in<\/span> the south-<\/span>east of the country, but this year<\/span> there is a tendency<\/span> of<\/span> moving towards<\/span> northeast<\/span>.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tRomania<\/span> has attracted many<\/span> investors<\/span> in<\/span> renewable energy<\/span>, mainly due to the support scheme<\/span> approved<\/span> by the European Union<\/span>, according to which wind energy producers<\/span> receive<\/span> two<\/span> green certificates<\/span> per<\/span> MWh.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n
