Despite a decline in real investment in renewables, there are optimistic signs showing that the sector remains attractive to Romania. This decrease reflects a maturing of the industry, and now the focus should be on maximizing investments and implementation of new projects, especially as the renewable energy sector is becoming increasingly competitive in terms of costs.
Attention investors and institutions in the field is headed this year by small investment for the maintenance of buildings, where the direct beneficiaries will be consumers – individuals and small companies. The sixth edition of RENEWABLE ENERGY ENREG ® , the biggest fair on renewable energy and energy efficiency triangle Romania – Hungary – Serbia border, lies between 9 to 11 April 2014, at Expo Arad International to support and continue with industry representatives fighting for a clean energy future in Romania.
In the three days of the fair national and international representatives from industry, politics, media, public authorities and individuals are expected to attend RENEWABLE ENERGY ® ENREG, unique event dedicated to renewable energies in the euro region Danube-Kris – Mures- Tisza. Fair enjoying some new and bring to the attention of participants conferences, forums and workshops innovative field. Among the exhibits at the fair include: the maintenance of photovoltaic parks, biogas plant layouts and more.
Over 50% of exhibitors that ENREG RENEWABLE ENERGY ® will host from the photovoltaic sector, while others are areas like hydropower, biogas, LED lighting, biomass heating and CHP. The event will be present in the area major companies will exhibit their products, services and future projects. Among the exhibitors are company Altius photovoltaic solar panels producer in Romania, Giurgiu Free Zone factory with an annual production capacity of 30MW.
ENREG offers universities a unique opportunity to present and promote their projects related to renewable energy, the project UniStreet. Several universities in western Romania will be present at the fair to present their research projects and offer future students.
PV Platform Romania, the meeting point for the photovoltaic sector in the Danube – Cris – Mures – Tisza, will host the conference and workshop for 2 days, 9 to 10 April 2014: PV Platform Romania – The future of PV market in Romania. The event is sponsored by law firms and organized Motec ŞTEFAN REECO with AREL – Romanian Association of Electricians.
First Mayors Day will take place on April 9, 2014, in which mayors and others in local government can seize opportunities and resources using available land for the construction of wind farms or photovoltaic organic matter produced by living organisms, biogas and biomass, water courses, and the thermal rehabilitation of buildings.
Special attention shall be paid to the legal framework regarding renewable energy sector. Day brings together legal advice: business owners , counselors energy consulting companies, banks, energy producers, associations, research and development, project developers first class lawyers active in the renewable energy sector on April 9, 2014. Due to increasing increasingly greater importance of using LED lighting throughout Europe, REECO wishes to draw attention to the ways efficient lighting and Romania, bringing together for the first time in the sixth edition of the fair, all companies interested in this area, national and international ! LED Forum will be held on April 10, 2014 and is organized by NCRI – Romanian National Committee Lighting with REECO.
Another novelty is the Forum – Career in the energy industry is organized on April 11, 2014, in order to assist students, recent graduates and young professionals who are looking for either a job in the field, be willing to learn about certain presentations or projects supported by representatives of universities and major companies in the field or on the opportunity to participate in various training programs and to assist in their training for a successful career in this sector.

Realities and Opportunities, A VI National Conference: Small Hydropower – present and future in Romania Wood Energy Forum in Romania and conference organized by CCIPR;
