MaiMultVerde Association launches Annual Report 2014. Of the nearly 70 pages of the document, you'll learn what we accomplished last year and what problems you have encountered, and uncover for you the pojects we want to continue.

 

Doru Mitrana, director of the Association, is sounding the alarm about environmental protection, from the foreword of the report, entitled "The seven years from home".

 

"Because they were seven years that even the planet has not stood and stand still, it continued to rotate and even, in some aspects related to the environment, seems to have entered a downward spiral: already we do not speak about potential climate change, becomeing in time a certainty, not even avoiding the question, now the efforts are adapting to this new world order.

 

Saving resources – water, energy, soil or subsoil resources – limitation of emissions and the amount of waste generated, protect species and habitats, developing innovative solutions for transport, communication and being clean are no longer simple aspirations dreamy shaken from sleep dry calculations of economic efficiency, but have become prerequisites for sustainable development.

 

In so many ways – economic, social, natural – today's world is not the one from 2008, year of birth of MaiMultVerde Association. Therefore we go forward, on these new coordinates with you along and with seven years from home in the luggage. "

 

 

Among the largest projects in 2014 have been:

• afforestation project MegaCOPACUL

• participation in fundraising events Swimathon

• continuation of the program " Give a tree as a gift !"

• plantings and additions to plantings Țara lui Andrei

• project “To plant for the planet !”

 

In 2014, the Association MaiMultVerde received the support of 760 active volunteers, passionately involved in all projects undertaken. Also, over 8,200 people are up to date on environmental protection and initiatives through MaiMultVerde Association newsletter-ului.
