La insistentele publicului si constientizand acutizarea problemei legate de avizarea proiectului minier de la Rosia Montana, regizorul documenatrist Fabian Daub a pus la dispozitie, online, filmul documentar ”Rosia Montana – un loc la marginea prapastiei”.
Iata mesajul regizorului catre publicul romanesc:
“Din cate am aflat, situatia politica privind proiectul minier de la Rosia Montana devine din ce in ce mai dramatica, existand intentia de a modifica, printre altele, Legea Minelor. De aceea m-am hotarat sa ofer spectatorilor din Romania posibilitatea de a viziona online filmul “Rosia Montana – un loc la marginea prapastiei”, sperand ca aceasta va contribui la declansarea unei dezbateri publice cat mai largi si benefice tuturor partilor implicate.

'WindMade' Eco-Label Now Covers All Kinds of Renewable Energy
To encourage corporations to use renewable energy, last year wind-related organizations launched "WindMade," a label that certifies that 25% of their electricity comes from wind energy.

The EWEA Online Electricity Cost Calculator, allows you to project the levelised cost of electricity generated by new gas, coal, nuclear, on- and offshore wind power plants. The levelised cost of electricity is defined as the actualized kWh cost over the whole lifetime of the project, taking into account the present value (2010) of all the cost components.
The tool uses a methodology in which the fuel and carbon cost components are taken into account, together with the corresponding risk associated with their price volatility. You can change the basic assumptions for all the power generation technologies, calculate their levelised cost of electricity for 2010, 2020 and 2030, and compare the results for the different technologies and years.

Doha, 4 December 2012. The WindMade organisation announced today the development of a new consumer label for companies and products made using renewable energy. This will be backed by the UN Global Compact, WWF, Vestas Wind Systems, and the Global Wind Energy Council, the partners behind the WindMade eco-label. This move was declared at a press conference during the COP18 climate negotiations in Doha.
